Индия намерена инвестировать 180 млрд рупий (около $2,2 млрд) в развитие производства «зеленого» водорода в стране, сообщает Reuters. Новая программа, рассчитанная на пять лет, предусматривает существенное расширение индустрии производства экологически чистого водорода с целью снижения стоимости его производства в стране на 20%. В настоящее время, уточняет агентство, затраты на низкоуглеродную генерацию H2 в Индии составляют в среднем 300-400 рупий ($4-5) за 1 кг.
«Зеленый» водород, поясняет ТАСС, получают путем электролиза воды с использованием возобновляемых источников энергии. В последние годы ряд стран начал рассматривать его как важный инструмент диверсификации энергоснабжения и постепенного достижения углеродной нейтральности. В свое время прогнозировалось, что мировой спрос на водород к 2030 году достигнет 130 млн тонн, а к 2050 году превысит 600 млн тонн. При этом стоимость уже реализуемых в мире проектов в области водородной энергетики превышает $240 млрд.
