The world leader in the production of technical gases and services for industry and healthcare is represented in more than 80 countries around the world. More than 65 thousand employees work under the management of the French company.

Vice President of "Air Liquide" Philippe Christodoulou in the capital of Kazakhstan met with the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, the leadership of the Ministries of Energy, Industry and Infrastructure Development, JSC NC "Kazakh invest", JSC NC "Qazaq Gas" and JSC "Samruk-Kazyna". During the negotiations, the parties confirmed the strategic nature of cooperation between the two countries and discussed the status of ongoing projects implemented by Air Liquide in Kazakhstan. Special attention was paid to the prospects for the development of joint projects in the production of "green" hydrogen, which is of particular importance in the light of Kazakhstan's stated goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. Recall that the clients and partners of "Air Liquide" are "Total", "ExxonMobil", "Shell", "Basf", "Chevron", "Sinopec", "BP", "ENI", "ConocoPhillips", "Petrobras" and others. It was also noted that this year Kazakhstan and France celebrate a significant date – the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Today, France remains one of the world's leading investors and trading partners of Kazakhstan. The volume of French investments invested in the economy of Kazakhstan exceeded $17 billion. The mutual trade turnover by the end of 2021 amounted to about $3 billion. The visit took place following the results of a webinar on the development of hydrogen energy in Kazakhstan organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France, jointly with JSC NC Kazakh invest and the French Association of Entrepreneurs Medeff.
