As reported on the website of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a ministerial meeting of the countries participating in the OPEC+ agreement was held in the format of a videoconference.

Kazakhstan was represented at the meeting of the OPEC+ member countries by Vice-Minister of Energy Asset Magauov. The meeting participants discussed the fulfillment of the parties' obligations under the agreement in April. Following the meeting, it was decided to continue increasing the current level of production by OPEC+ countries for July by 0.648 million barrels per day, as well as to extend the period of compensation for overproduction until December of this year. Kazakhstan's obligations for July will amount to 1.68 million barrels per day.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia called a condition for increasing oil production. She warned the allies that she would increase oil production only if the production of raw materials in Russia significantly decreased under the influence of sanctions.
