Заместитель премьер-министра – министр торговли и интеграции РК Серик Жумангарин встретился с правительственной делегацией Исламской Республики Пакистан. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба премьер-министра Казахстана.
На встрече отметили, что Казахстан и Пакистан имеют стратегическое географическое расположение в Южной Азии. Поэтому расширение торгового и транспортного взаимодействия является перспективной задачей для двух стран.
«Особую значимость для нас имеет инициатива заключения Соглашения по транзиту торговли, так как именно транспортная сфера остается «слабым местом» во взаимной торговле», – сообщил в ходе встречи Серик Жумангарин.
В свою очередь, бизнес Пакистана заинтересован сотрудничать с Казахстаном в нефтегазовой, банковской сферах, сельском хозяйстве и других.
«Наши потребности в энергоресурсах ежегодно растут. Рынок Пакистана очень емкий, население страны составляет свыше 200 млн человек. У нас нет полезных ископаемых, но есть выгодное транспортное сообщение, железнодорожная инфраструктура», – сказал федеральный министр промышленности и производства ИРП Сайед Муртаза Махмуд.
В дополнение пакистанская сторона озвучила готовность предоставить Казахстану выход к морю и на рынки стран Персидского залива через порт Гвадар.
На встрече стороны также обозначили перспективы сотрудничества в энергетической сфере, в частности, транзита газа с использованием мощностей газопровода «Туркменистан-Афганистан-Пакистан-Индия» (ТАПИ). В завершение участники договорились детально обсудить затронутые вопросы на 11-м заседании Совместной межправительственной комиссии, которое пройдет в декабре текущего года в Исламабаде.
