However, given the low interest of subsoil users in expanding the resource base, taking into account prices that do not cover the cost of gas production, appropriate incentive measures and updating of pricing policy are needed,\" Bolat Akchulakov said at the government hour in the Majilis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">According to him, in this situation, the issue of replenishing the resource base of our country through incentive measures for gas projects is acute, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/sknews.kz\/news\/view\/gazopererabatyvayuschiy-zavod-na-kashagane-zapustyat-k-2024-godu\" title=\"SK News\" target=\"_self\">SK News<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><em>\"Currently, in order to increase the resource base, work is underway to build a gas processing plant at the Kashagan field, which by 2030 will be able to provide an increase in commercial gas in the amount of more than 6.2 billion cubic meters. We predict that this will be implemented in three stages \u2013 1, 2 and 6 billion cubic meters. Since June 2021, construction and installation work on the first stage of the project with a capacity of 1 billion cubic meters is actively underway,\" the minister said.
