Китай запустил крупнейшую в мире «батарейку» мощностью 100 МВт

Крупнейший и наиболее эффективный национальный демонстрационный проект усовершенствованного накопителя энергии на сжатом воздухе (англ. compressed air energy storage, CAES) успешно подключили к энергосистеме. Его уже подготовили к коммерческой эксплуатации в Чжанцзякоу, городе в провинции Хэбэй на севере Китая, сообщает портал «Хайтек» со ссылкой на пресс-релиз Китайской академии наук. Проект – первая в мире электростанция ​​CAES мощностью 100 МВт.

Станция разработали в Институте инженерной теплофизики (англ. Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, IET) Китайской академии наук и ежегодно может вырабатывать более 132 млн кВ*тч электроэнергии. Это обеспечит 40 000–60 000 домохозяйств электроэнергией в периоды пикового потребления. С экологической точки зрения, установка сэкономит 42 000 тонн стандартного угля и сократит выбросы углекислого газа на 109 000 тонн в год, заявили в IET.

CAES – это тип батареи, которая использует непиковую или избыточную электроэнергию из сети для производства энергии. Это возможно за счет использования дополнительной электроэнергии для работы компрессора, который, в свою очередь, производит нагретый сжатый воздух. Он хранится внутри специально построенной подземной полости, где гидростатическое давление выталкивает его обратно на поверхность.

Там он повторно нагревается в тепловом накопителе и направляется через турбину, которая вырабатывает электричество. Системы CAES становятся все более популярными, потому что по сравнению с обычными батареями они могут хранить энергию в течение более длительного периода времени и требуют меньше обслуживания.
