Ученые предложили производить солнечные батареи из отходов

Ученые Пермского государственного национального исследовательского университета (ПГНИУ) предложили использовать при производстве солнечных батарей полупроводниковые материалы на основе органических отходов сельскохозяйственного производства.

Как пишет «Российская газета», в ПГНИУ, в частности, работают над созданием новых красителей, которые способны существенно увеличить поглощающую способность покрытия и снизить стоимость производства батарей.

В качестве исходного реагента ученые используют фурфурол. Это вещество с приятным запахом свежего ржаного хлеба является продуктом вторичной переработки биомассы – соломы, опила и других отходов сельского хозяйства и лесоперерабатывающей промышленности.

Органические солнечные элементы на основе соединений фурфурола – в отличие от традиционных для солнечных батарей кремниевых – являются легкими и прочными, а также подвергаются вторичной переработке.

– На данный момент получены несколько соединений, исследованы их оптические и электрохимические свойства. Полученные данные говорят о том, что они могут быть применены в качестве красителей для поглощающего слоя органических солнечных элементов. В дальнейшем мы проанализируем их динамику светопоглощения и выберем одно наиболее эффективное соединение для создание поглощающего слоя, – пояснил участник научного проекта Данил Вшивков.

Стоит отметить, что лаборатория органического синтеза, в которой разрабатывается новый поглощающий состав для солнечных батарей, создана в ПГНИУ два года назад. В ней проводятся исследования по изучению природных и биологически активных соединений для создания антибактериальных, противотуберкулезных и противораковых препаратов, а также разрабатываются антикоррозийные средства.
