Энергетический кризис 2022 года показал, что нужно продолжать инвестиции в нефть и газ, заявил глава TotalEnergies Патрик Пуяннэ на форуме, организованного в рамках СОР27. 

Он заметил, что население планеты растет и энергии требуется больше, но при этом нужно снижать выбросы парниковых газов. По мнению СЕО французской компании, нужно инвестировать в новые декарбонизированные источники энергии, но сегодняшняя энергия – это нефть и газ, поэтому нужно сокращать выбросы от этих источников, но и продолжать инвестировать в их производство, пишет Интерфакс-Казахстан.

«TotalEnergies больше не хочет расти по нефти, но хочет расти по газу, потому что это переходный вид топлива», – сказал Патрик Пуяннэ, добавив, что порядка 25% инвестиций компания тратит на развитие возобновляемых источников энергии. По его словам, нужно найти правильный баланс между сегодняшней энергией и новыми источниками энергии. 

«Текущий кризис показывает, что нам это крайне необходимо. И речь не о том, чтобы смотреть на количество энергии, а главное – ее доступность (по цене – ИФ), потому что для меня большой урок 2022 года, когда мы говорим об энергетической политике, мы говорим о безопасности поставок, (климатической – ИФ) устойчивости, но главный фактор – доступность», – сказал глава французской компании. 

«Посмотрите, кризис, который мы создали – инфляция, макроэкономические условия инфляции цен на энергию – они огромные и могут дестабилизировать всю мировую экономику», – опасается Патрик Пуяннэ, отметив, что самые доступные источники энергии – это нефть и газ.

Глава TotalEnergies заметил, что если снизить инвестиции в нефть и газ, то цены пойдут еще выше. 

«Люди забыли, что мы, нефтегазовая отрасль, каждый день боремся с естественным падением добычи. Если не инвестировать, добыча снизится и не сможет удовлетворить спрос», – подчеркнул он.

Патрик Пуяннэ подчеркнул, что для нефтегазовых компаний в этом году хорошая конъюнктура, они получают больше денег, и TotalEnergies будет ускорять нахождение баланса между традиционными и новыми источниками энергии – две трети инвестиций будет идти в нефть и газ (около 12 млрд долларов), и треть – в новые источники энергии (5-6 млрд долларов). 

Вместе с тем, заметил он, сейчас идут «странные дебаты», что нефтегазовым компаниям не позволят инвестировать в новые источники энергии, потому что они получают деньги от нефти и газа. 

«Это странно. У нас есть люди, технологии, финансы. Мы должны быть частью решения», – подчеркнул глава TotalEnergies.
