Токаев запустил газохимический комплекс в Атырауской области

Президент дал старт работе интегрированного газохимического комплекса ТОО Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc., сообщает пресс-служба президента.

Председатель правления НК «КазМунайГаз» Магзум Мирзагалиев рассказал главе государства о перспективах развития газохимического комплекса. На строительстве комплекса было задействовано 4300 человек. После запуска предприятия постоянными рабочими местами будет обеспечен 631 человек.

Этот предприятие, специализирующееся на переработке сырья с Тенгизского месторождения, рассчитано на производство 500 тысяч тонн полипропилена в год, что составит 1% от его мирового производства.

Производственный комплекс не только обеспечит потребность в полипропилене на внутреннем рынке, но и будет способствовать деятельности малых и средних предприятий, производящих изделия из полипропилена для строительной и медицинской отраслей, автомобилестроения, пищевой промышленности.

На предприятии используются технологии Catofin и Novolen американской компании Lummus Technology Inc. Аналогичные комплексы функционируют только в пяти странах мира – Саудовской Аравии, США, Бельгии, Южной Корее и Китае.
