В Ирландии телефонные будки переоборудуют в зарядные станции для электромобилей

Компания EasyGo, оператор сети зарядки автомобилей, заключила партнерство с телекоммуникационной компанией Eir, чтобы заменить 180 телефонных будок по всей Ирландии точками быстрой зарядки электромобилей.

EasyGo утверждает, что устройства зарядки постоянного тока, разработанные австралийской компанией Tritium, позволяют менее чем за 20 минут дать зарядить электромобиль на 100 километров пробега. Эти 100 километров будут стоить около 5 евро, сообщает издание RenEn. 

В соответствии со своим Планом действий по борьбе с изменением климата до 2030 года правительство стремится к тому, чтобы к концу десятилетия на ирландских дорогах был почти миллион электромобилей.

По данным Министерства транспорта, опубликованным летом, в настоящее время в стране всего около 10 тысяч полностью электрических машин, что составляет менее 0,5% национального парка.

Местоположение первых зарядных устройств, которые будут запущены в рамках этой инициативы, будет объявлено после консультаций с местными властями.

Инициатива EasyGo была с энтузиазмом встречена компанией Eir, которой принадлежат крайне малоиспользуемые телефонные будки по всей стране.
