According to the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Alibek Kuantirov, the average oil price since the beginning of the year was $98 per barrel. At the same time, IFO forecasts for 2022 for oil prices range from $74 to $105 per barrel.
“In this regard, when clarifying macro indicators, the average annual price of oil is set at $90 per barrel, which is $30 higher than previously approved,” – сказал Куантыров в правительстве.
The same barrel of oil cost ten years ago, in 2012.
“The main increase in revenue is expected from ETP for oil (by 597 billion tenge) due to an increase in the duty rate against the backdrop of an increase in the forecast oil price, a change in the exchange rate of the tenge against the US dollar and corporate income tax (by 343 billion tenge) due to an increase in macroeconomic indicators ", – сказал Алибек Куантыров.
He noted that in general, the upward revision of the national currency and oil prices had a positive effect on the parameters of the National Fund. The volume of proceeds from the oil sector is projected to increase to 4,833 billion tenge, or by 1,431 billion tenge.
Taking into account the additional volume of guaranteed transfers, net income to the National Fund will amount to 245 billion tenge (445 billion tenge).
