Крупнейшая солнечная электростанция Европы построена в Испании

Энергетический концерн Iberdrola завершил строительство крупнейшей в Европе солнечной электростанции Нуньес-де-Бальбоа (Núñez de Balboa) мощностью 500 МВт в испанской провинции Эстремадура. Объём инвестиций составил примерно 300 млн евро, сообщает издание RenEn.

Фотоэлектрическая станция занимает площадь около 1000 Га и состоит из 1,43 млн солнечных панелей. Годовая выработка составит 832 ГВт*ч.

Столь крупный объект был построен всего за один год, отмечает компания. Разрешение на ввод в эксплуатацию получено, в настоящее время проводятся пуско-наладочные испытания. Промышленная эксплуатация начнётся в первом квартале текущего года.

Важно отметить, что новая солнечная электростанция построена полностью «на рыночных условиях». Возврат инвестиций будет обеспечиваться за счёт продажи электроэнергии в рамках двусторонних договоров купли-продажи, заключенных между Iberdrola и потребителями из «банковского, телекоммуникационного и розничного секторов».

До настоящего времени крупнейшей солнечной электростанцией Европы являлась Cestas во Франции мощностью 300 МВт.

Iberdrola строит в Испании еще одну, более крупную солнечную электростанцию под названием Francisco Pizarro, мощность которой составит 590 МВт.

Испания, долгое время являющаяся отстающей по развитию солнечной энергетики, несмотря на благоприятные природные условия, стремительно наращивает свои фотоэлектрические мощности. По недавнему прогнозу Европейской ассоциации солнечной энергетики SolarPower Europe, по итогам 2019 г Испания займёт первое место в ЕС по приросту солнечных мощностей за год.

Новые проекты Iberdrola также подтверждают, что даже в густонаселённой Европе достаточно места для строительства гигантских объектов солнечной генерации, и для развития отрасли не существует пространственных ограничений.
