Китай начал строительство «ядерного острова»

По сообщениям китайских СМИ, на искусственном острове в провинции Хайнань активно ведется строительство крупнейшего ядерного реактора. «Хайтек» рассказывает все, что известно о проекте на сегодняшний день.

Что такое «ядерный остров»?

Компоновка АЭС состоит из двух основных частей: ядерного и обычного (турбинного) острова. Атомный остров — это сердце атомной электростанции. Он состоит из защитной оболочки, вспомогательной постройки и зоны обращения с топливом. Для каждого проекта атомной электростанции (АЭС) строится индивидуальный ядерный остров. На нем находится ядерная система, которая производит пар (ядерная паропроизводящая установка, ЯППУ) и системы безопасности.

Как его будут использовать?

По плану властей Китая, реактор будут использовать как распределенный источник энергии, а также для удовлетворения других нужд региона. Например, его мощность пригодится для опреснения морской воды, регионального отопления, промышленного отопления и других целей цели. 

Какая у него мощность?

Мощность каждого комплекта «Линглун-1» составляет 125 000 киловатт. Сам реактор будет вырабатывать один миллиард киловатт-часов электроэнергии после ввода в эксплуатацию. Этого достаточно для удовлетворения потребностей 526 000 домохозяйств.

Почему ядерная энергетика – зеленая?

Основная проблема использования стандартных источников энергии – выбросы углерода. Изменение климата и необходимость правительств резко сократить выбросы парниковых газов заставляет правительства искать и использовать альтернативу. Несмотря на то, что использование возобновляемых источников энергии, таких как ветер и солнечная энергия, за последнее десятилетие выросло в разы, ядерная энергетика по-прежнему является вторым по величине источником безуглеродной электроэнергии в мире после гидроэнергетики. В странах с развитой экономикой – она номер один.

Сейчас Китай активно вкладывается в безуглеродные технологии. По данным Национального управления энергетики, за первые восемь месяцев этого года инвестиции Китая в энергетические проекты выросли на 16,7% в годовом исчислении. Кроме того, использование огромного реактора – часть усилий Китая по гарантированному энергоснабжению в случае нехватки электроэнергии.
